Upon reserving a Talkeetna trip we will contact you with the meeting place depending on which air charter firm we are using.

To receive a full refund, cancellations or changes to your reservation must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

You’ll need to have on warm clothes for under your dry duit – fleece top and bottom, long underwear, thick socks.

Bring a swimsuit and towel if you wish to use the Hot Tub

Yes, All passengers must be physically capable of passing our paddler’s practice swim.
Our season generally runs from Mid May to Mid September.
Raft trips on Sixmile Creek are Class IV and V white water (see Whitewater Classification System), and due to insurance restrictions persons with heart conditions, epilepsy and pregnant women can not participate. For those of you looking for a float trip with no whitewater, we offer our Turnagain Pass Float Trip daily at 9am and 2pm.

Divided into six classes, the whitewater rating system attempts to provide a uniform set of of evaluation criteria for rivers. Bear in mind that changes in river levels can dramatically affect a river’s difficulty rating. You can find detailed information about the classes on our Safety Page.
